Hezbollah is hiding within the civilian population of Lebanon. The UN is even acting like human sheilds. The leftist media, if we continue to get suckered by them, will embolden the muslims yet again. Hezbollah knows this, and that's why the hide where civilians are and shoot their rockets--Because if Isreal takes them out, they also take out 40 civilians.
The civilian population is guilty for being the human shields, also. The way to lose a war is to side with the terrorists, they'll be over here slaughtering innocents before long.
UN is just as guilty

Do you think that war is a like a board game where nobody gets killed? America bombed Japan's two cities in WWII causing both death and destruction. Look at the relationship between these two countries today. We are allies and partners in trade today. What if America had not took this action? This very act lead to the end of war with Japan. Those who have immigrated to this country from there are welcomed. The ones I have met are honorable and decent in words and deeds. The UN resolution demanded that Hezbollah be disarmed? Once again a failure to enforce its own resolution leads to disastrous consequences. If Hezbollah had been disarmed, then no soldiers would have been killed or taken by force. Israel would not have responded in military force. Hezbollah rockets would not have killed Israeli citizens and destroyed buildings. The same result of death and destruction would not have happened on the other side of their borders. Hezbollah wants the destruction of Israel at any cost whether it be their own or innocent civilians. They hide behind the women and children in hopes that Israel will not respond to their attacks or would be blamed for their deaths. There is no sanity in mind of these terrorists. Israel warned the citizens and them that they had better leave before the start of their military response. The terrorists are not so caring for human life.

I was a little sick when i saw someone holding a hezbollah flag... I have to say I side with Israel... I think they are fighting terrorism, and defending their country the only way how... I have been to Israel twice and have seen what they live through everyday. That said, how could I get angry at lebonize people for holding rallies against israel, when all they see is their people dieing.
It is unfortunate that many use Hezbollah a terrorist organization that uses suicide bombers to kill many people (many of which are children) as a way to express their feelings, and not a different approach... It is hezbollah that is why their country is in pieces...
While todays bombings was horrible, at least with israel it was clearly an accident. (although there is something fishy in the fact that the people were in that building when it fell since reports say it fell 8 hours after the rocket hit it).
I still have not heard Hezbollahs appolagy for the deliberate suicide bombings that killed many innocent children playing in the Jewish community center in Argentina... Or for any of the other INNOCENT jewish people that they PURPOSELY killed. Or how about the 200+ american soldiers that they killed?
The leader only appologized for the killing of two Arab Boys in Israel. So he is saying that an arab life is more valuable then an Israeli's!
Interestingly the Lebanese president said that the Israeli's value Israeli life more then a life of an arab. Yet he supports hezbollah
That said, I feel for all the innocent people (on both sides) whos life have been taken away in the fight against terrorist organizations like hezbollah.

You might not be so appalled if it were your boy and girl (as your name implies) that were killed by the Israeli bombs. I ask the same of you - not to judge until you know all of the facts.
The Israeli soldiers were kidnapped in Lebanon. Do you know the facts about the Lebanese and Palestinians that Israel has in prison? Did you know that Hezbollah asked them to release those prisoners in exchange for the soldiers?
Did you know that Israel had this planned before the soldiers were kidnapped? It just provided them with an excuse to move on their plan. Do you think killing hundreds of innocent civilians (Israeli and Lebanese) is worth the lives of two soldiers? I'm not trying to diminish the worth of the two soldiers lives, but there are other ways to gain their freedom - ways that do not include so much death and destruction.
Put it in perspective. This is an outrageous response. Common sense has to tell you that the two soldiers is not the reason for this. They are trying to pull Syria and Iran into a war.
Get your information from some sources other than CNN and Fox news - when you know all of the facts then you can start telling others not to judge.

It's not as if the people of Lebanon are supporting and aiding the terrorists. I'm sure any of you would stand aside if a man walked into your home with a guided missile on his back and an AK in full auto. No one even stood up in those planes against men armed with knives. It is never OK to kill civilians through the conduct of war. How is it that the winners of a war are never subject to the scrutiny of the Geneva convention rules? The justification that because terrorists are in Lebanon therfore we can kill all the Lebanese is crap. If a terrorist hides in Israel they don't kill all the Israelis around them-they shoot people in a palestinian dominant neighborhood. The Israelis are supposed to be the best trained urban warfare troops on the planet-they are placing their right to live above everyone else. How can you not see that as wrong? Why do people support the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? (No one else in the chain of command of the Allied forces was for it-read Eisenhower's memoirs)
I'm not trying to desecrate the memories of those that died on flights during 9/11-just pointing out the fact that you can't blame someone for standing down against a superior armed force.
P.S.
I don't support Hezbollah in any way shape or form-but fighting these types of wars is going to cross lines in a bad way.

Great point, but you will be attacked for your remarks. People will just come back with opinion and details that don't really matter and they will ignore the simple facts:
Terrorists cannot be negotiated with. Israel knows this and has found out the hard way. Even if Israel negotiated for the soldiers the cowards they are fighting would just demand more and more until there is nothing left to give and they would be at war anyway. The anti war people are also all hypocrites because what did the U.S. do after it was attacked? We identified those responsible and invaded Afghanistan and if you think the U.S. didn't accidentally kill women and children you are wrong but I'll bet you still supported our soldiers actions. It is no different with Israel. They were attacked and are now protecting their country and their soldiers honor by invading, just like the U.S. did. People who disagree with our government just need to complain and want some attention.

...so that gives Israel the right to start bombing? killing civilians?
over reacting as always?
All Lebanese people do not belong to Hezbollah. We have terrorists HERE in this country (Did YOU forget Oklahoma City?), but that certainly doesn't mean WE are all terrorists. Our CIA has acted as terrorists in other parts of the world, but does that make US terrorists? What if some other country told us to get rid of "our" CIA or they would bomb us. How would we do that? Or would we even want to?
PS Danny Thomas is turning over in his grave! (Oh yeah! I'm old enough to remember "Make Room for Daddy" Is that old enough for you?)
I'm NOT a supporter of ANY terrorists, but I resent the way people "understand" what this is all about. One of the answerers said that the questioner here was VERY intelligent. Guess again. She said Hezbollah is "a group of Lebanon men"-----never heard the term "Lebanese"???? And as the one really sharp answerer above said, it is NOT a Lebanese organization, but Iranian.

It is a damn shame that people will support someone who will setup missle lanchers in their back yard behind hotels where women and kids are and shoot at the country next to them knowing they are going to get them kids killed. But it is the plan to make the other side look bad. If the missles hit in Israel and kill kids they rejoice for killing them and if Israel fights back and kills a kid by mistake. Which was the plan of Hezbollah to start with. It is the lowest thing that has ever happened and it is Hezbollah's fault for lanching from that spot knowing it would be returned.

People are stupid...get over it. These idiots who side with Hezbollah either forgot about those poor American bastards that Hezbollah killed and those other atrocities they committed (dont also forget the 241 USA Marines that got killed back in Oct. 1983 by Hezbollah bombs) and they only see the pain Israel inflicts, or they are really terrorists also...just like that guy who said "go Hezbollah".

Tell me why the innocent civilians, children and women have to pay with their lives in such a horrific way, the kidnappings of 3 men, for Terry and David's lives. There is no justification for the genocide taking place.
I can't believe the US sits back and watches quietly what is happening but screams its head of when 9/11 took innocent lives.
It's the principal of it all, not the reason or cause.
I'm ashamed of it all.
