Open yahoo mail, sign in, then click on My Account, right under your name, and when it takes you to your profile, one option will be in red, Change Your Password.
That's how you do it

login normally
At the top there is a tab "my account" near sign out tab
you will again be asked for your old password
enter it and you get to a page with your details and also an option to change password

2. Type in: change password
3. Select obvious topic
4. Read
5. Execute

go to option yahoo on you mail and them choose "Account Information"
