Yes in the mountains by Lake Tahoe, in California. It was so weird, during the day it was 100 degrees but in the early morning hours, you step out of your tent and there is snow on the ground! The time I went, we put the food cooler in the tent near my head, I think my face was even up against it as I slept and in the morning, there was no food cooler or even a back of a tent! We later learned a bear riped open our tent and made off with our cooler, (we later found it smashed to pieces in the woods)! Just think, my head was right up against it, it gives me shivers when I picture it!
