Apparently she was insane at the time of their deaths, so this changes the circumstances. So I guess the kids will all be coming back to life soon.

I totally disagree with it- and her stupid, and evil husband should be charged with a crime for being negligent by leaving his babies with that sick, twisted woman.

I do not in anyway agree with what she did or do not feel like she should be released into society. I have 4 children of my own and have worked very hard to take care of them and protect them and spoil them but I do feel that she is seriously mentally ill. I also feel her husband was not blameless in the whole situation. He knew of her illness and did not get her help and continued for months to leave her alone with the children.. Other relatives also knew the situation and did not have her commited or assist with the children. Terrible situation no matter how you look at it... She will never be free... Even if she responds to treatment and gets better..She has the fact that her children are dead to live with the rest of her life....

She may as well be in prison because she is going to be in a mental institutation for quite sometime. She is not going to just be set free to be on her own.

Do I agree with the verdict? No. I have 3 grandsons ages 21, 17, and 15 and they have all made comments about how she drowned her kids and got out of it.

She will be held indefinitely in a mental institution and may never be deemed well enough to be released out into public. This is supposed to be of some comfort after what she did. :/

The problem is, John Hinkley Jr., who tried to shoot the president, was deemed well enough to leave his mental institution for unsupervised weekend visits!

It's pretty obvious you know nothing about the case. If you knew anything, you would realize that the only just verdict was the one that was given. She was mentally ill.

Insane, yeah right.
She should get life behind bars, no chance of parole.

I think that only someone not in thier right mind could do what she did.

I do not, however, think that excuses the behaviour.
