there are two solutions to this
either a) go out and find someone who makes you feel the way he does. may not happen within the first few dates and boyfriends but you will find someone you can love just as much...maybe more.
or if you really feel he is your soulmate or the one for you
choose b) call him, talk to him, see what happened with him, try to get back if he is single or atleast talk to him about what happened and if anything could ever work out again
best of luck!

The same thing happened to me in my early twenties. Looking back, I think I may have had the "Martyr Syndrome" or was looking for pity (which really didn't seem like me at the time). Some of us hang on to our first love's far longer than we should and it could be just that simple. Our first love is sort of branded onto our brains but it prevents our lives from being full and joyous. If you both felt the same way, you wouldn't be here asking this question. I promise you that things are working out exactly as they're meant to. Cheer up. Get over it and go on with your life. Life is way to short to spend another second wandering and worrying about this guy.

Stop drinking. It is an addiction. Love is also an addiction. You have to understand that the Hypothalamus in the brain sends out peptides proteins that attach to cells. This is also known as Serotonin. It makes your cells in your body feel a certain way. In this case you feel good when you get what you need from him. But now he is gone and you have allowed the pain to become the addiction. You are now replacing the pain with alcohol. Drinking will be the next addiction. You need to talk to a therapist and get some help resolving this issue. You may it sounds like have an addictive personality. You need to find a positive outlet for your feelings. Go help somebody who needs help. Do something positive. Most addicts run themselves into the ground then they become addicted to religion. Just as dangerous. So get help now.

OMG ma its been TWO YEARS, not 2 days not 2 months, TWO YEARS, this ain't All My Children, he's probably smackin bellys with some other chic right now, and your by the phone mopping. Two words, MOVE ON, ma you have the upper hand, you know what I notice women do when they broke up with someone, they go and work out, get their (o )( o) and their (_!_)'s right, hit the malls, buy the sexiest outfits, and watch the guys flock to you like flys to shhhhhh! You get the picture, get yourself involved in various activities, join some type of club, stay active stay busy, and you'll meet a great guy that will blow that other guy out of the water miles ahead, and then you'll kick yourself and realize damn, I can't believe I fell for that loser, this guy I got now is 10 times better. YOU GO GIRL!!!! ;-)

drinkin will never solve anything to begin with, if you think that you are too depressed about his relationship then you should look at yourself in the mirror and see what is present. Dun look back, live your life now. tell yourself that what you had was great memories but it is in the past, you should be creating new sweet memories now. Being single is not that bad, and in due time, i am sure that you will find someone better. All the best.

Don't use booze as a crutch. It only makes your depression worse. Here's what happened to me. I broke up with this guy, then married another. I shouldn't have because I was still in love with the first guy. I was unhappily married. I just couldn't get the first guy out of my mind. He was my soul mate. I left my husband, sent my old boyfriend a birthday card (e card), 2 years after breaking up with him, and he answered me with an e mail. He couldn't believe that I could still remember his birthday after our being apart for 2 years. He said he missed me and wanted to see me again. We met, and have been back together since. I sent that e card on February 8, 2004. I'm so glad I did.

i'm at a loss for words. What the heck are you asserting. i'm no longer anal approximately grammar and spelling, yet i'm no longer able to understand a million/2 of what you're asserting. yet i'm gonna provide this a try. If I understand this top, the recent guy is possessive, calling and texting you each and on a daily basis, and already making plans marriage and little ones AFTER 2 WEEKS??? you be responsive to the recent guy "loves you very plenty" AFTER 2 WEEKS with the aid of fact he pays consistent interest to you even however he's insensitive on your thoughts. What do you spot in this guy? enable you be responsive to what, he's needy AND possessive. this is a foul mixture. And your bf of four yrs, of direction he's familiar with you extra clever, he's had time, yet once you do unlike him, end it. it is troublesome, it continually is, yet he gets over it. We continually do. do no longer stay with him basically considering you experience obligated b/c of the time you have been jointly. Oh, and end it with the different guy besides. It seems such as you're involved in this guy basically considering you do no longer decide for to be along with your b/f anymore and you like the consistent interest. yet, have confidence me, desperate and possessive adult adult males are like that for a reason.

try hanging out often with your best gurl friends. Friends are the best way to keep your love life problems out of your mind. Plus they can cheer you up instead of you alone feeling depress. It is NOT healthy! Don't you worry..if he is meant for you then fate will bring you back together. Just don't give up. Love him still but at the same time give him and yourself some free time or space. You both need it. Things are not always what you expect it to be. Anyways, Good Luck and wish you all the best! Remember LOVE yourself first aight??

Veronica: please dint drink! You are thinking about what you had and you love the idea of having that kind of relationship you don't have at the moment. You miss what you had and not him..that´s so common! all the girls once in a lifetime have to deal with that. Don't feel bad to consult an specialist and go on with your life cause I'm sure he has his own and you are capable of finding someone who would make you feel protect and special as you remember...good luck and please consult a therapist to talk about this and get over him
