I agree with those who say that being gay is ok. I'm not anti-gay or homophobic in ANY way. I just, like PMC, have a really good "gar-dar" and it never hit me that he is, in fact, gay.

It totally sucks. I had the hugest crush on him way back when N'Sync was popular. We should have known tho, all the cute ones end up being gay.

I didn't care when he was in the closet and with in N'Sync and I don't care now. Personally, I find their music to be culturally inane and pointless. If Lance thinks announcing he's gay will revive his career, he's in for a shock. It takes hard work, a break from society's pigeonhole, and daring to change minds and hook up on the bandwagon. Just saying you're gay doesn't mean jack if people still hate your guts...and chances are more people would be hating you because you're gay. (Course, those people are idiots, but that's another discussion.)
Lance wants to do something crazy, how about he break from his 'petty song boy' image and do a soulful edgy work? It worked for Mandy Moore and Donnie Walburgh.

my gay-dar is pretty good and i didn't pick up on that one. i was definitely surprised, but couldn't care either way. everyone deserves to be happy in this world, so it must be a huge weight off his shoulders to have finally come out.
