I bought a very powerful electromagnet from a friend of mine I have all the plugs for it plugged in every socket in my house, If I cut it on and stuff goes crazy outside my apartment can I get sued?

You can be sued for anything ,even for wearing glasses. the trick is finding a court(judge)to accept it.
If you do damage to someone elses property with it , then possably. You may get the FEDs looking into the strange radio interferances

the only times people get sued if if you HARM someone else. if there is a potential you could cause any kind of harm to someone else (and they are the kind of person who would want to sue you) then dont do it. if you can do it without harming (that includes mental angiush, property damage, physical harm etc) then do it cause it sounds cool
