Are the police any closer to catching these sicos? It must be extremely frightening to be living there - how are you dealing with it?

I live in Peoria which is about 10 miles away from where a couple of the attacks have taken place. The police from what the news has said are no closer than they were 2 months ago. The Serial Shooter they don't even have a composite drawing of him. The Baseline Killer is attacking people where so far no one has seen him. In a way the idea that there are two serial killers out there is scary but I have personally taken more a few more precautions now. My wife doesn't go on walks at night with the kids anymore unless I am there and she has a can of mase with her at all times. In my opinion the biggest change people can make is to beware of there surroundings.

I live in Tempe. I hate it here. We are moving out of here very soon. No one knows about the two serial killers. No one knows what they look like or anything. The cops keeps saying we have no clue, and no suspects. That is just great news. I have a bad feeling that they won't be caught for a very long time. I mean people have to live in fear that any day this could happen to you. Arizona is not worth this. The weather, schools and everything. This is a very serious and sad situation. I wish they would get caught soon.

I used to live in the Mesa/Tempe area for years.
I left last year after moving to the Sierra Vista area.
I just heard that the shooter killed a woman out alone (after 11pm) in Mesa.
This is ridiculous that they haven't caught this person or persons yet. It's a really sad situation because when I lived there, it was a very safe place to be no matter what time of day it was.
I hope someone knows something. They probably need to up the reward.

Here's my theory...I believe the two are somehow aquainted, whether having been in jail or otherwise. Both will eventually get caught...crooks ALWAYS make mistakes...the first of which is thinking they WON'T get caught, and the second is by killing/raping/stealing.
