ummm yea beings i have to pay for everything i have... including cell phone and internet usage, clothing, shampoo, conditioner.... i think the only thing is rent. then half the time they ask me for money to help pay for bills. o by the way im in the process of trying to pay for college and get a car but because my family dont have money, i might not be able to go this semester. you might not get too much for how much your parents make, but you sure as hell do get a lot more than i ever could.

your parents love you and clearly want the best i would be happy with what you get but never forget to be gracius the is a big differance from spoiled and spoiled rotten.
take it from a military brat at age 24 my father still takes very good care of me and i dont even live at home anymore.
keep in mind they want the best for thier lil girl and always will maybe one day one of those things will turn around for you and be able to a pay for a cruise for two for them.
or even just a night out on the town
show them how much you apriciate them by saying thank you and doing your best at it. if their is one you dont like tell them fast so you can work better tward the other you do love to do.

most definitely you should have to work for what you want in life. I had to work for everything I wanted and a lot of what i needed and it made me a strong person who appreciated hard work. I get so frustrated with college students or students in general who never had to work for anything they don't realize how hard it is and they don't appreciate what they have most of the time. I just hope that you realize what you have and appreciate it and do your best and hopefully you will someday make something of this because if your not serious and they spent all this money this might really hurt your parents.

Yes. What is the point of all this? I say choose one and the rest of the time do homework and have fun with yor friennds in something UN-organized. Geez, kids these days, can't do anyting unless their lives are organized 24/7.

To me...you get more than I did...while Im sure there are other kids out there whose parents are building golden brick roads for them.

To be fair to yourself...do you give back $200+ back to your parents in chores like the dishes, mowing the lawn, etc? If you chip it I think its fair.

Me? well I do many things around the house and take on some large projects. ...since I was 16 I paid for all my extras in life...my car, my repairs, my insurance, my medicine, my soap....etc.

anyway, good luck. dont be too hard on yourself. maybe you deserve it if your a good kid that respects his/her parents.

That is way to much. Stick with your dance class, teach yourself guitar, and get a YMCA membership for swimming. But if they can afford it easily, go for it.

Trust me, you take more pride in what you have if you struggle for it. If you dont have one, get a job. But if they want to pay for it, by all means allow them. Just keep what I've said in mind.
