Black people constantly complain about racism in america? its always "its was because Im black" or "you just dont understand because your not black". Listen Ive been all over the united states and there is a consistent characteristic in black society that the world owes them something! Black people are the most racist of all americans! They hate white people based only on the color of their skin, which is how racism began in america. Now black people contribute to racism by their own actions...who are the popular african celebrities? those who call themselves and are proud to be N*ggers! You know white people are in the postions that they are today (as well as people from other races)? They worked their butts off to get there. All the while that black america was sitting around waiting for a handout (reparations) white america was busy conquering the modern world. So Black mothers stop raising your kids to be n*ggers and teach them the value of money and hard work, redeem your race!

Im not saying that ALL PEOPLE of ANY race is any certain way okay! I just saying that history has shown that people who are raised in a similar fashion tend to make similar decisions with how to live thier lives and the SOME PEOPLE of certain races have shown through history what kind of people they really are, including white people who seem to value money more than family in todays modern culture. Im not trying to be offensive to anyone okay? Im trying to have an intelligent discussion regarding sociology.

Well, you're doing a lot of stereotyping here. I've seen lazy people of all races who think the world owes them something. I think the reason that it seems like more blacks do this is because the ones who are like you state here (who live up to the stereotypes) tend to cluster together. They also tend to live in larger cities, so if you travel to the major cities, you're going to encounter more people with dark skin who are sitting on their butts collecting money from the government.
I was matched with a family as a mentor in 1998. Six kids (five at the time. youngest born in '99) single mom, four fathers, black. They were living out in the suburbs. three-four of the kids were doing very well in school. In Sept of 2000, they went homeless, bounced around for a year, and settled in the city. The oldest, who was a straight-A 8th grader, dropped out of high school and has a baby. The second one is now 18 and has four kids that I know about. The oldest is a year younger than his little brother. Third one...I don't remember the last time I saw her when she wasn't stoned. The fourth one moved in with an uncle who lives in an outer-ring suburb. He's going to be the 1st to graduate highschool. #5 is a year behind in school, but knew more about 5th grade than I did as a 5th grader. She's finally at the point of being a decent reader and paying attention in school. The little guy is a struggling 2nd grader who was reading when he was three, but was put in special ed pre-school that really messed him up.
If you progress out of the inner city though, you will encounter people of all races who don't live up to your stereotypes. More of those kids would've been sucessful (and the younger ones are still to be seen) had they stayed out of the "ghetto."
So, in summary, I think there is some truth to what you're saying. However, there are many respectable people of all races out there. There are some in the inner city of course. The environment one is raised in does affect us.

Boy Boy Boy! You people are something else! That's right I said it-YOU PEOPLE! I'm from the south and racism is and always will be! We live in a white society and whether anyone wants to admit it or not-blacks will always be a step behind! The world is run by white people! Do you think we'll ever have a black president? Heck no! We will always be treated as less than you and looked down on because of the media! The media has made blacks appear to be either from the ghetto or rich and educated but an uncle tom! We just can't be normal people that go to school and get a decent job like most. I could say so much more but I don't think there's enough room on this website! I just think that as a people we are a result of our environment. If you grow up poor no matter what race you are you may end up stealing. If you grow up in the ghetto you may end up in a gang. If you grow up rich you may end up being a spoiled brat! It's all about how you're raised and your environment! As a mother of 3 kids it 's my job to teach them morals and about respect and love and religion and help them with their homework. If they turn out bad, I blame myself! My husband and I as well as many black families teach our kids to be strong and fight for what you believe in. Anything is possible and you can be anything you want to be in life, but don't be naive because racism is out there in the world and you will probably be called a n*gger at least once in your life time! So the best thing to do is just pray for the enemy!

Here's one thing for you: I'm very offended by your use of the word "N*ggers". This word proves that racism does still exist. What? You're using that word to lift us black people up? Is that your way of complimenting us"
I am a black woman who knows perfectly well that I am not going to be handed anything in my life, and many black people know that so don't tell me that "you've been all over the united states" because you will never, ever talk to all the black people in this country.
Black people are making it in this country with hard work. We're not just sitting around "waiting for a handout".
So even if you get a few people that complain about racism, it's not everyone. Stop generalizing.
p.s. To the people who believe that black people are the only ones with their own channels- Hispanics have Telemundo (47 on many televisions), Filipinos have TFC, Asians have ImaginAsian station etc. So black people aren't the only ones with a television station. Anyone who wants to represent their race, their people can get their own television station. Everyone is represented nowadays.

I see what ur trying to say but u need to word it better
when u make generalizations like that it is racisim
people don't understant that utill you look at people indiviually
this racism BS will never end
also for some the fact that people have different skin color and they are from a different place makes them feel that they must act a certain way
as for all that working BS u said again u have to look at people individually 90% of all successfull people got where they are due to hard work and poeple who belive in them
and everybody trys to take advantage of the situation they are in so as long as thing are given to ppl jusf for being a certain race ppl will ask for things just for being a certain race its not just black people everyone does it

What an idiot, an uninformed idiot at that. The word that black men use among themselves is *igga, not n*gger, this has nothing to do with the word used by White Americans to reference Blacks. Secondly, racism occurs across all color lines..no one race can be accused of being more racist than the next. Lastly, African Americans are one of the most resilient group of people out there. To survive slavery and oppression and still make it, I am proud to be Black. I was raised to work hard and be strong, how about you?? Take a class in ethnic studies and sociology before you made uninformed and biased information.

I don't get it either, like when they use the "N" word to talk to each other but if someone uses it the same way they are using it, they get mad. Reparations is just a mask on handouts, why should people pay for what others do, what about the African tribe leaders that sold blacks to the "white" man, maybe they should get their reparations from them not the hard working Americans. It is easy to throw garbage in a trash can but their neighborhoods look run down with garbage and then they complain about it, does that make sense. I think peope just need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming each other. If you don't graduate from high school and don't get a good paying job, then don't complain and scream racism, that's not cool.

That's a pretty harsh blanket statement. Having lived in a city with a black majority for the past 14 years, I would have to disagree with you on that assessment. Being white here, I have faced racism from some black individuals but like white racists they are under educated and emotionally bent. Maybe someday everyone will understand that the only color that makes a difference in the US is the green color of money.
Just ignore the noise from the media on this as they will only fan the flames of ignorance.

wow, you make quite a case there. A case that states that you are as bigoted and ignorant as those that you are supposedly chastising!
Popular African (not all blacks are African, btw) celebrities? Well, I can tell you that Oprah hates that N word and I can't imagine Bill Cosby or any other EDUCATED black person using it. I think you are using a small slice of the black community to represent the whole......
I dont like that any more than anyone using white trailer trash to represent the rest of us 'white folk'......

redeem their race? they're not accountable to anyone else's perceptions or judgments- you can't expect someone to live their lives for someone else. You need a history book if you seriously believe what you just said about "how racism begam in America" you embarrassment. It's cool how proud you are that you raise your children to worship money..maybe you need a conscience so you can look at people's character, not how much money they have. Yeah, all in all, you're humiliating to our country.

I'm black. You made one mistake in your obvious uneducated, trailor-park, square-dancing, pick-up driving comment. The white people that are in powerful positions today did one of four things to get there:
1. Lied ( Pres. Bush) 2. Stole (Pres. Bush)
3. Cheated (Pres. Bush) 4. Killed (Pres. Bush)
