After years of emotional and physically abuse and the fact that he had been cheating on me. I finally decided that I had had enough the day he hit me in front of my son while I was pregnant with our second son. I know that I would leave him that day. it took a year but I did when he tried to pick up a girl in front of me and bragged about getting her number

He is a liar, cheater, abuser of me, his kids, and others, a user of me, drugs, and others, among other things. He also couldn't keep a job for more than a few months, then would quit or get fired, and either live off of unemployment, Social Security, or find some low paying, meaningless job and say that it was all he could get when he could do better. He also couldn't do well with his money. He was a truck driver for a couple of different companies and was making over $3000 a month, plus I was working making about half that. He would spend ALL of the money on only he and God knows what (probably women and drugs), then wonder why the bills couldn't be paid on time, if at all.

If you have ever been through the court system, you know not to say "I do" next time. The simplist divorces ends up in a heated battle when it comes down to the assets. After that experience, I say to my guy friends, keep a level head and stay single.

For me it was the fact the he started using drugs and not just pot the hard kind ,stealing,lieing ,not coming home,can't keep a job because of the drugs now he's in prison,All of the above is what made me say I don't

I think I actually said "done now".
When I realized he resented me. He resented that I could be happy, because he wasn't (and still isn't)...that I speed read...that I'm independent...essentially, any area in which he felt I "bested" him, he resented.
For the life of me...I have no idea why he married me.
