Am I rich?

Everyone says I'm rich. I mean, I do go to a $20,000 private high school, am a member of a country club, and live in a 4.3 million dollar house, but still, a lot of other do too. My dad is the president of Wells Fargo, which is a really big insurance company.

I really don't know a lot about money. I mean..I'm 14 and have a credit card and spend..but no one has told me not to.

I don't know. Is a rolls royce expensive? or a range rover? I have no idea and I want to know If i'm rich or not.

To the lady that said my grammer would be better... I still go to the school..I'm only in 9th grade.

I am not nieve, I am asking this question because all of my other friends are like this. I just watched a show about the average family, and the homes were really small. I've been confused ever since. I always thought I was part of an average American Family.

You are not rich, but your father is. You are living a very privileged life based on the good fortune of your dad. I have no doubt that someday, you will inherit some of the family money and you will then, yourself, be wealthy.

I would suggest that before you spend all of Daddy's money, you talk with him about how to invest wisely. Even the very rich lose it all if they spend unwisely.

You are not necessarily rich. It seems obvious to everyone in this forum that your family most certainly is. What I find so very sad is that your life is so sheltered that you have no idea. Don't you read? Don't you ever talk to the servants? If money buys this level of ignorance about the world around you, I'm fortunate I'm not rich.

I think you are insecure in your social standing, and you just want someone to stroke your ego and say you are rich to make yourself feel better. Everyone has their own definiton of rich/wealth. It is sort of like beauty, its in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I wouldn't consider myself rich unless I had a 100 million dollars, but thats just my perspective.
