im not, i dont think its horrible to make a movie because they made plenty of movies on horrific events such as the civil war, vietnam war etc... and lot of people think that its too soon to make a movie on it. But how long should you wait? it been 6 years. Well yes its a movie to make money but it also shows people what america did wrong. And we need to stop this from ever happening again.

Not at all. Although the overall purpose of the movie is to indeed make some money off of a tragic event (i.e. Passion of the Christ or even better, Flight 93), I do believe the makers of the movie have an additional intention and that is to portray the heroism that occured on 9/11. I am not disgusted by the WTC movie, but I will not watch it. Not only did the tragic event happen too soon, but to this day we are still fighting a war on terror that had stemmed from 9/11. I'm sure Nicholas Cage will do a brillant job, but in the end, I am not sure if I'm ready to witness two hijacked airplanes fly into the WTC again (this time with high tech computer graphics and amazing angles) -I had more than enough of that from the news coverage on the week of 9/11.

No one has forgotten what happen at the WTC. It has only been five years, It happen Sept 11, 2001. The movie will bring back alot of unclosed wombs. Keep in mind, that alot of people still to this day struggle with their lost of this day on a day today basis. The movie might or might not make money but for historical purpose I hope it leaves a message for the future of america.

I saw a preview for it before the Miami Vice movie this weekend. My reaction was to tear up during the preview. I think the movie was going to happen at some point - there have already been others (TV and movies) made - and that does not bother me at all.

Hollywood always makes movies based on real life events and this is a tragedy we need to review and reflect on.

Although I think it is a good idea, I am not sure I am ready to watch it. If the preview brought tears to my eyes, I am going to need boxes and boxes of tissues for the full movie.

Nice background. Not only everything you said, but Americans in general have forgotten 9/11. So I think this is a brilliant reminder.

It is not a movie I will ever go see, the real thing was traumatic enough for me, I don't want to see it re-enacted.

To some of us it will always be too soon. I guess it depends on where you where when the planes hit.

I don't have a problem with it and a portion of the profits are going to one of the charities.
