Tell him it's over and if he continues tell him if he is going to insist on this path that you will place a restraining order against him. If he still persists go ahead with the restraining order. "Don't make threats that you're not willing to carry out." If you get to the restraining order part and he violates the restraining order, then call the police. It has to be done in that order.

1. Move to another address but keep the same phone number. 2. Have your calls forwarded to his mothers house. After he has to talk to his mother 5 or 6 times in a row he will never call your number again. 3. If that doesn't work tell him you want to meet him in a rough bar or truck stop with a bar and tell him to wear a certain jacket, pants and shoes. Next call the bar and make insults to the bartender and patrons all day and tell them you will be there at a certain time and give them yor ex's description. That should take care of him.

If you noticed that your ex has been harassing you, it is definately time to call the cops. You wanna let the cops know what is going on before it gets worse! The longer you wait, the worse it may get and you don't wanna take the risk.

This is what I know from recent experience. Tell that person once to leave you alone or you will have to get the police involved. Keep a log of date and time of calls and what was said. If this person still won't call the police.

I would start recording the phone call everytime they call, tell the police ask them what can be done about it for sure...then they may suggest a some kind of court order from a judge ..give it a try.

Indeed, call the cops if you feel that threatened. If you are still young (IE, living with parents) let someone older also know of the situation.

You never know what could happen.

Good luck.
