Yes...the scientific theory is this: just the vibration from a fat girl falling in the vicinity of any living creature sends a signal to the very cells of that creature that sends it into an uncontrollable spasm known as laughter. The spasm seldomly ever stops as fast as it starts and will never end with the fat girl still around. When trees are involved, the tend to shudder and grow a few inches and drop a lot of leaves when something like this happens close enough to them, so yes, I think they show they do laugh.
