No, duhhha...but I'm sure someone will be fine. lol, (sorry couldn't resist). I'm sarcastic all the time, but totally optimistic. Of course it's possible...other the wise the word for pessimism would BE sarcastic. They are two completely different things.

How the hell can you be "anyone else?" "I am anyone else" implies that you are not you. If you got a life, then you'd be you.
As it is, you seem to be as useful as a thermal jacket in Cancun. Don't you have better things to do than sit around making up stupid questions?
I could go on and on, but you're really not worth the trouble.
Of course, I hope that you can change. In fact, I'm sure you can. You can do or be anything that you set your mind to. You may not be utilizing your full potential right now, but it's there. Nurture it. Hone it. Become the self-actualizing person whom I know you can be.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, the sun will come out tomorrow.....

Absolutely. I'm optimistic because I know there is good in the world...and sarcastic because I know there is stupidity in the world. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Sure it's possible. Optimism is the drive that really pushes you forward. Sarcasm is perhaps a degree of doubt about the feasibility of finding better situations ahead, translated into cynical or half-joking comments. It's not abnormal to have one's doubts about what lies ahead, especially if life has given you some blows. If anything, it would be odd for someone to go forward without any concern for the uncertainties that might lie ahead.

I am so I say yes. I am not a stupid optimist though. I do realize that some things just aren't possible. Maybe that makes me more of a realist?

Yes. To be sarcastic to someone, but mentally optimistic. You have to show sarcasm outwardly but the optimism you can keep to yourself.

sure. optimism is having hope in times of difficulty-when things are out of your control, sarcasm is having a reality check when things are within your control..
