Most if not all jobs require good communication skills:
- asking people question so they actually understand what you are saying
- convey your idea effectively so they don't get lost
- making presentation to supervisor
- dealing with customers
- providing technical support
- socializing with people, make life long friends

If we didn't have any we would not be able to use sites like this one or simply communicate daily with those about us, good communication skills also helps you get on in life and at work.

good communication skills help many people in many ways think of all the jobs that depend on communication....sales, telemarketers (even though we hate them) police officers, teachers, parents, etc.
everything would be so different if we didnt know how to communicate. :)

you get in trouble with people, you get mad easily, you cant communicate what you are trying to say in better words and often end up offending some one or saying some thing wrong.... people think you are smart if you have good communication skills....

Put it this way..
You are tarzan and you can't speak a word of anything.
You will starve to death in our very urbanised world. Because people don't hunt for things to eat or whatever..
But yeah that is an extreme scenario.
