Not at all you see their is only one tank under ground. There is no super unleaded or unleaded it is all one and if thereare 3 they fill each tank with the same grade gas. So it does'nt matter which grade you choose. As for the vendor brand. They all get their gas from the same place. So it is all the same. My father inlaw owns a gas station so I know this to be true. The thing to look for is that little sticker that says certified by the Department of Weights and Measures. It is being shorted gas and not recieving a gallon because some places give you a liter not a gallon. Look at this you have 1000 customers aday. Each customer buys $20 dollars of that gas you short the customer about $2 or $3 dollars thats $2000 to $3000 dollars a day to play with. To upgrade your station. Or open another station. If you get caught shorting gas it does'nt matter. Because the fine at the most is $2500 per pump. Last year 10 stations in Los Angeles actually got cited but because it was their first time their fine was reduced to only $1000 dollars per pump. the Department of weights and measures only have 8 employees out there on the streets and you usually get a call before they get there so they have time to play with the adjuster above the machine before they get there. I mean really if Taxi Cab drivers can adjust the meter don't you thing they can do it with a gas pump.

Not really, but don't keep changing from regular to high test (premium) Also, the best time to buy gas is in the afternoon. The moisture in the tanks are stirred up already, and always use a gas station that has high volume of customers. I use different gas stations all the time now, due to the high cost of gas prices.
I never had a problem following the above suggestions.

Well it all depends on your car... It is not a good Idea to keep switching. Gas is not ALL the same. Well you can buy any brand of gasoline, but the important part is to see which octane of fuel your car uses. You can find that in you owners manual...When you go to the pump just look and you'll see 87, 89, 93 octane ratings. Use the one you car's manual recommends.

not really but check your gas milage
the octane is the same but yes believe it our not some of the cheaper gas stations has more additives or such and your milage can drop. The name brand chains do not seem to have this problem but I have one station by me and if I run their fuel I lose 4 miles per gallon average under the same driving conditions
and yes putting premium in once in awhile helps get the car running cleaner but you do not need it all the time. I do premium about every 20th time at the pump and a few extra times in winter

In general terms, no harm will be done to your car if you switch.

In engineering term, it is good to stick to 1 brand. Each brand put in different additivies in their gas. Switching different gas will make your car ECU to adjust to it constantly. Thus, maximum performance will not be achieved.

Different car or engine react differently, over here we talk about the Fuel Consumption. Your car may be able to go that extra miles or km when using different brand of gas.

So happy trying...

octane's the important thing. it's written on the pump. it's cheapest to use the lowest octane that your car will run on. However, some cars require a certain minimum octane reading in order to run. Consult your owner's manual or manufacturer's website to be sure.

There's not that much difference between brands, anymore. I used to have an older car that once in awhile i gave a tank of "Amoco Ultimate" (now BP) which cleaned the engine somehow. i don't know that much about cars, this is just from experience.

it is actually good to switch brands of gas for your car. you shouldn't always go to the same gas station. gas stations get their gas from the same company every time. each company uses different detergents and additives to the gas to give it more octane for example. by switching gas stations often (brands) you get different detergents and additives through your fuel system and as a result, the fuel system stays cleaner. besides, you don't want the same rich a** oil execs getting all of your money do you?

You can switch gas brands as many times as you want - there will be no harm for your car.

No. Generally you can buy the cheapest gas as long as there are no knocking or pinging sounds in your car; if so, go for the medium and higher priced versions. In fact, I fill my car up about every third for fourth time with premium just to be good to the car!

Not at all. I've been doing this for 16 years and keep doing it now. But for regular/popular brand only like shell, exxon, mobil, etc. never try it for irregular brand, or no brand gas. it may have risks
