does anyone know where I can get a hedgehog...hopefully in texas?

Once I went to Petco and they had hedgehogs. You could call around though and ask pet stores if they know.

You can go to your local Freecycle Group for your area. Put Freecycle.org in your browser. pick out the nearest towns, sign up and then list WANTED: Hedgehog. I have seen them there before as OFFERED.
Freecycle is a place people go to give away stuff they don't want and get free stuff they need. Best Wishes!
