Others said i shouldn't wear pantyhose with sandals. What is the best way to wear sandals or open toe shoes?

I am thinking you mean heels, because some pf these people are talking about socks, and tights. I guess in the UK they call pantyhose tights, but here I always figure tights and heave opaque items like Superman wears.
I always wear pantyhose with heels, open or not. When wearing them with open shoes, you just make sure they are of a neutral color and ultra-sheer sandal foot (no darkening on the heel or toe) so they cannot be seen. The European pantyhose are better for this because they come as low as 6 denier. The sheerest I have ever seen American pantyhose is 15 denier.
I am always getting compliments on my legs and feet, and I always wear stockings or pantyhose, but I have a great tan, and get a pedicure every week. the nylons just enhance what is already there, and I feel more ladylike wearing them. I think it is tacky to wear heels and a skirt with bare legs.

Which ever you are more comfortable with is what you should wear -- whether it's bare legs or panty hose.
If you're concerned with how you look in sandals or open toed shoes, opt for the sandal foot pantyhose. They don't have reinforced toes and look more natural (more like bare legs, with a bit of a tan).

High heel sandals are fine with really sheer stockings or pantyhose as long as they are natural color and sandlefoot with no darkened toe or heel.
I wear them with sandlefoot stockings a lot and people are always complimenting me on my legs and feet. I just make sure the stockings I wear are ultra sheer, and fit tightly on my foot and ankle. That's why I prefer a garter belt, I can make them as tight as I want, by adjusting the straps.

I think pantyhose and stockings should be worn with a closed toe heel, or a slingback. Some open toe heels that show a little toe with hose or stockings are ok, but I don't like the look with sandals, no offense but to me it's not a sexy look.

Pantyhose with sandals is fine. That's why they make sandal foot style pantyhose. Sheer nylons always looks sexy with high heel sandals.

I am assuming you mean high heel sandals. I wear then all the time, but I always wear ultra sheer stockings with them. Pantyhose are sometimes so heavy they will show. If you have very expensive nude sandlot pantyhose it's OK. There is noway my ultra sheer stockings can be seen.

don't wear sandals or open toed shoes with pantyhose ever, unless you're over 45! Then, it's okay because no one will tell you anything.

I would suggest to not wear any type of stockings. Just paint your toes yourself or even go for a pedicure. If your are wearing a close-toed type shoe, then pantyhose are fine.

The best way is with bare feet... it looks much better than with any type of socks...
If you are trying to protect your feet or cover them up then that's not a good solution..
Try to get a good pedicure where they clean the heals and all... put some nice color nail polish on and bring out the feminine side of you by wearing sandals with bare feet!
