There are thrift stores that have nice clothes, ones that you can't tell they are from a thrift store, and also garage sales also have nice clothes. You said that you live in the middle of nowhere, so I am not quite sure what you can there. But if possible babysit, mow lawns, walk dogs. Also depending upon what state you live in you might be able to get a job. There are some states that will allow you to work at 14, so that might be an option too. But it is important to remember to keep your head straight on your shoulders. Don't get too consumed into getting money that you lose touch of school and friends. Money isn't always the answer. You know the old saying money doesn't buy happiness. Although I know that these days kids can be cruel, and if you go to school with the wrong shoes, clothes hairstyle etc, you are going to be the "talk". Well if kids pick on you for that, you have to keep strong shoulders, and think that you are the better person. Be thankful for what you do have, and that is your family. They aren't going to be around forever, so chersih the time that you have with them.
You seem like a very strong, well grounded teenager. Keep it up, and you will go far in life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to talk with your mom. If you can't talk to her, tell your grandparents, aunt, or uncle that you need help. If there is no family to help you go to a church or call child protective services.A church will help you and your family to get caught up and get you what you need. You may not get a bunch of things you want but you will have what you need. To keep this from happening you can mow yards and /or babysit. Mowing pays better for a shorter time. You can get $25 - 50 each yard and only pay $2-4 gas. It is a good job and you can do it every summer to buy school clothes, supplies, bed(if the church doesn't get you one) and you will have enough for the whole school year for pics, games, and extras if you put it away and budget it. I worked full time as a waitress from age11 in the summer and some on weekends during the year and my bro did yards. I bought all of my school shoes, clothes, and the material for the ones I made. You can do it if you only mow 2 yards a day for 2 or 3 days each week.I hope your situation gets much better. No child should be without a bed!

Try babysitting, petsitting, dogwalking, yard work, etc.
Also - be a bargain hunter when it comes to clothes. Thrift stores, ebay, consignment shops, clearance racks in any store.

If you have nothing but family members around,
1 - be grateful to have them
2 - what about hand-me-downs?
3 - ask older family members if you can help with whatever job they have, tell them you are trying to earn some spending cash
