I live in Michigan and my and my neighbors' lawns have Quack Grass. Quack grass is similar to grass but has a wider leaf, lighter green color and grows about 40% faster than lawn grass. I have tried tediously pulling it out one at a time, and I tried using Roundup to the dismay of my lawn. Is there something commercially available to kill the quack grass ?

MSMA is a grassy weed control that works great. It can not be used in St. Aug or fescue. Put down pre-emergents in the fall. In Texas, we put down pre-emergents 4 times from October to March, but it never gets very cold here.

The only way is to use round up and reseed or pull it by hand.

Keep the grass short to keep it from spreading
