Girlfriends will not return to UPN because UPN has merged with WB to form CW. Girlfriends will return on the new CW, although Jill Marie Jones (Toni Childs) will not be returning.

I'm not sure if the show will be returning, though I really wish it does. I mean the show is soo good. But from what I heard, the actress playing Toni Childs will not be returning, as she left because of some money trouble (seems like she wanted a raise, but they gave her the boot instead).

i thought most of the upn shows are moving to channel 11??? something called CW im not sure

Yes they will be but one of them will not be returning. She is the one who just had the baby. I believe that she sold realestate. And I know she was married to that short white man.
