Work out what you want to do then research different ways to become that. In the meantime, learn to study so that you don't need to learn these skills while at uni or tafe or whatever because its damn hard having to learn how to reseach properly when there's so much more going on at uni!

The HSC itself is not necessary (I believe) however it sets you up with so many skills - dedication, study skills, perserverance, concentration training etc

Plus, if you don't know what you want to do, take a year or 2 off after school. But having the HSC under your belt will be a huge stepping stone and will assist you heaps if and when you decieded to go to uni/tafe etc

Of course u need to study.Its the basis on which u decide your future.There is no shortcut to studying.The more u study and more u have understanding of concepts u wont find it difficult.
