It's not a blend of ALL other sciences, but it takes many different sciences to make astronomy possible. For example, the practical physics of mirrors and light are used in the creation of telescopes. Chemistry is used through spectrometry to analyze the chemical makeup of objects seen in astronomy. Theoretical physics is used to interpret the objects being seen.

Because it really is. I can't really say from experience, however I took an astronomy class. I used chemistry, earth science, as well as physics. You use all of these sciences in some shape or another in astronomy for different purposes.

Alll other sciences? Math, Physics, Chemistry, yes. But, Zoology, Virology? It does play with most of the big boys, though.

I don't think of it that way. I think it has nothing to do with biology for example.
