MAC have a large selection of colors and a lot of glittery eye shadows...their pigment shadow in the little jar works great and lasts a long time...
Also, Chanel, a bit pricy but you can use it as blush as well, lasts for a long time, and it never creases or wears off. Just make sure that you always apply either foundation (if you use it) or a good eye base cream to keep your eye shadows on...
If you are planning to buy any, might as well head to Nordstrom and have someone do your make up for you.. make sure you go early... then you can buy whichever piece you like the best. They will give a full complimentary make up session if you buy some make up..
Call them and ask for who does the best make up at like chanel or lancome (they have some good stuff too) and make an appointment, so you don't have to wait.

Ben Nye (American professional makeup company) and
Kryonlan (German professional makeup company) have all different kinds of makeup specifically for stage, theatre and production.
You need to layer your makeup, so use a makeup base, a cream cake foundation and then seal it with a loose powder, for staying power. Also Ben Nye make a great 'final seal' spray which seals your makeup... it won't go anywhere until you wash it off.
Be weary of using foundation bases that are too greasy... as they will suffocate your skin and could make you sweat a little more.
Both companies are easily accessible online, and they sell internationally.
I have used both of these companies for years.

i sing and act at the lyric theater acadamy, you don't really need a lot of makeup to do that kind of thing. one or two coats of mascara, some pink blush(a tiny more than you would normally put on) and long lasting lipstick. if you have blonde eyebroww and you are under a satge light you might want a LITTLE BIT of eyebrow pencil.

You'd be really looking for something that isn't too glossy and isn't too unnoticable. The lights of a stage really make your face lighter and as reflective as a mirror. So you want something that makes you look natural....which sadly usually ends up looking drag queenish off stage.

most auditions are not conducted under theatrical lighting, so just look good in daylight or tungsten, and you'll be adequate. Musical directors are partially blind anyway.

Mostly just heavier than what you would wear in real life, especially the eyes and lips.
