This was a choice many of the female Jews were given, to agree to sleep with the Nazi officers in exchange for their lives or to give them a break from having to participate in excruciating, back-breaking work while living in the barracks with the other prisoners, risking death by starvation or disease in addition to the constant and very real threat of being arbitrarily shot for no reason.

A Nazi would be considered contaminated by consensual sex with a Jew. Raping a Jew was considered a good thing. There was never a choice for the Jews.

It is amazing what people can and do in the pursuit of survival. In thos situations, normal judgements should be suspended.
Remember the awful things that prisoners of the American military have endured, just to stay alive, in the jails of Iraq.

No.. though if I was unmarried I might consider marriage to one of the officers, but I would rather die than be a whore.
Though I'm a guy so I may have a different perspective (though, I'm guessing most guys wouldn't care so much)

Sure and I'm not even a woman. I think most would, I've asked lots of female friends if they would sell/rent out there bodies in order to feed their child and the answer was an unanimous...of course.

Trust me, from a woman who has done just that to be sure of survival, you would do pretty much anything.....nothing that is against your soul, but giving your body is not the same as giving your soul,
