Yeah- I have a heart mummer, and I'm an all around athlete. It's more common than you think.

There are a lot of people with heart murmer..the percentages are much higher than you think...I played football for 3 years and the only thing you will notice that you won't run all the way around the track, only about 3/4 of it... will have to walk the remaining part.. Have to learn how to pace yourself.. the same thing applies to track.. have to stay under the 220 distance.. Other than that you will have no other ill effects. Mine was the result of rheumatic fever and I am 74 this year/.

Your heart doctor should be able to tell you. My specialist told me that I shouldn't because of the hitting could possibly hurt me. I didn't want to take any chances.

You mean a murmur. Yes you should be okay, I played until senior year...then I got injured and missed recruitment...my life went downhill pretty quickly from there.
