Hello!! I'm canadian and I love acting. I mostly act at the church whenever we have special presentations.

Question

Do I have any chances to start acting backstage in Canada without having a diplome in performing art or any other equivalent? I know that I have the tallent, my friends and family say so. Please someone let me know or give me a tip about this matter. Although I know also that people in US have more chances to succeed with acting career. God bless.

All the CEGEPs have drama departments. They all put on productions.

Check it out and you will learn a lot and have the opportunity to act as well. CEGEPs are tuition free so it should be possible to gain experience and a diploma in drama.
