Generally, do cancers get along with leos?

I know I have a lot of these type of questions but this is for my sis.

Perhaps it works better if the Cancer is a female and the Leo is a male, but the other way around - it's a disaster. Anybody can get along as friends, but if we talk dating, this is not a good combination. I had a Cancer b/f, and my half brother is one, too. For my taste male Cancers are way too sensitive and easily offended, reserved to the point of being secretive, and their logic doesn't make sense to me half of the time. I'm a typical Leo, strong, direct and willful, so I get very impatient with all those nuances and undercurrents of their personality...if I wanted that much "sensitivity" I would date a woman :) However I'm sure there's a few couples out there who did make it work, so I'm not saying it's impossible... just improbable :)

Cancers can get along with Leos. I think a lot depends on other factors in each person's natal chart. Remember, you are much more than you sun sign! For instance, someone could be a Cancer with an Aries moon, so the moon in a Fire sign might make this person more compatible with someone who is a Leo with, say, a Pisces moon. Or maybe the two people in question have their Venus in the same sign or the same House...
