Yes, it actually does. I tried it all skeptical (my friend gave me some of hers) and I found it works really well. About a week for me. The only downfall is it is kinda pricey. But you should at least give it a try.

Good thing I am here to answer this question LOL!! I use Proactiv alot because my face breaks out somtimes and when I use it I see results in about 3 days for my face! But when you use Proactiv you have 3 steps to take and then you have a great face! 1st step is you use the face cleanser and you can use that in the shower or where ever. 2cd step is that you use the toner which is the liquid to clean your pores out. 3rd you use the repairing lotion and that makes you skin repair and help it become clear! You have to you this every day for great looking skin and trust me it works because I get compliments on my skin all the time and using it makes me fell really great! So I hope you feel the same way which I think you will!!

I had a mild acne problem a couple years ago and Proactive reduced the number of breakouts I got, but I would forget to use it and the acne would return. I do recommend it, but only if you are willing to spend the time it requires. To get the good results you have to use the products up to three times a day, and limit your make-up. I have very few zits now that I am on the pill, and I would recommend that even more.

I've used it before in my younger days back in the 90s. It's not as terrific as what the stars who endorsed say. It could be the fact that I live in Singapore and that I'm Chinese that I don't see much of the results as the brand claimed. Yet, I feel it's like using any other anti-acne products off the shelves. I would recommend trying more natural products from Body Shop or Origins. Proactiv isn't as effective as what you see on the advertisements.

I have been using it since it was on the market-I cant remember how many years, I love it!
I have the most sensitive skin, but Proactive really helps (you just have to be faithful and use it regularly.
Stay out of the sun because your skin will be more sensitive as well.
I honestly rememeber that my skin felt better within two or three days, and started looking better in about two weeks.

I'm 27, and still suffer from acne. I have used proactiv, and it was the only thing that worked for me on a consitent basis. You have to use it very regularily though, otherwise it won't work as well. You also need to use all three steps, not just one. I can't remember why I stopped using it to be honest......
Plus my face started clearing up within days of starting to use it.

Yes. I have used pro-activ in the past, but with little results. Pro-activ is one of those acne medications that take time to truly manifest results. Moreover, pro-activ does not generally treat nodular acne: a severe form of acne that could actually scar the face.
After failing with pro-activ, I began taking an oral acne medication called Accutane. Accutane is an extremely powerful acne medication that has quite a few side-effects, but provides powerful results. I haven't had a single breakout ever since I went off of it about 4 year ago.
I've provided info on nodular acne and Accutane.

the good news...it worked for me as well as couple of my friends. the bad news...you gotta keep using it and it's somewhat costly. but, it really did work for me. after a couple of weeks, my pimples were pretty much gone and i was getting compliments on how nice my skin was getting. from then on, i became a fan and advocate of proactiv. it really does work and the good thing is i think u can get your money back if you're not satisfied within like 30 or 60 days. so, there's no harm in trying.

I have a friend who's son uses proactive and it works really well for him. I'm not sure how long it took before he saw results, but I know if he doesn't use it you can tell.

I've used it and it seemed to work well for me, but I would also use a cleanser at night and wash my face with soap before I use the proactiv in the morning.
