I'm curious, since being without TV, how I've so much more "free time". Still, I feel out of the loop and miss TV. I'm much more productive now that I've been away from it for a while. Does anyone else ever look at their personal relationship with television. Think about it. We all have a personal love/hate relationship with this tube plasma thingy. I'm limiting myself from it. I'm curious if I'm the only one. Thoughts? Thanx, Brian in ATL,USA

Yes - TV is a bad habit but at the same time, there is a sense of connection and engagement that the boob-tube allows for. You can see things/places/people and/or learn of new things/places/people through TV. Sometimes it's good, sometimes bad, but I'm of the mindset that better to know than not know.

I feel the same way. It sucks me in. I know I should get up and out of the house, but I still sit and watch. We watch less TV then what we did a few months ago, but its still to much.

Ican't think of a better way to spend my free time than watching tv

I work all day and coming home to watch tv and seeing my campy shows, make me appreciate the simplicity of my life all that much more.

I don't watch TV all that much. Have work and exercise in the evenings. I think sleep, is more important.
