I doubt if they did because they were in the sun most of the time and would have had natural tans.

Well, going from the Geico commercials, cavemen like wine and soft jazz and are easily offended. Not sure about their sunburn situation.

Nah their epidermis was much thicker then and there was more vegetation to shield them from sun light plus they ususlly die from being eaten by predators before the sun gets a chance at them.
