I've slept on memory foam pillows for the last 4 or 5 years, and depending on the shape they really help lift your head and support your neck. One thing is that they do wear out after a year or two, and the foam breaks down and stops supporting the same way.

I had a memory foam mattress pad for the bed in my dorm and it was hte best thing that I have ever slept on. It was such a huge difference from my friends' beds. I never had a night where I tossed and turned and was uncomfortable. It was expensive but it was worth it because it saved my back.

The ones they sell in Brookstone? The Perfect Sleep pillows, they are amazing, especially if you really suffer from neck and head pain. They never lose their shape either. I wish they made them in King or Queen size that was my complaint also! lol

My whole family has it. My parents and little brother like it, but I actually find it uncomfortable. My neck feels strange after I wake up and it actually moved the fat around my cheeks to the lower part of my face. Weird. Anyways, I stopped using it. It didn't change any of our sleeping pattern. We all still get the same amount of sleep.

I have one. Mine is the same size as a regular pillow but shaped
differently. It was rather expensive. I do think it has helped but not sure worth the expense.
