performance parts will NEVER improve fuel economy. by the very nature of performance parts, it will improve performance-accel, torque, speed, etc. most cars are already engineered to get the most fuel economy. usually tinkering with an engine will hurt the fuel economy. Popular Mechanics did a story a few months back, and most engines burn something like 99% of the fuel. the only thing you can do is drive easier.

There are plenty of different items that you can do to your truck, the first and easiest to put in cold air kit from K&N and then the next is you can put in some real good spark plugs, and then you start getting into some money but then you can put dual exhaust on so it can breath better with less restrictions and you can also put synthetic oil in all the places that require oil like the motor and the rearend that will reduce friction and make the engine run cooler and that will give you performance and fuel milage.

First it is really hard to find perfomance parts that will help you to improve fuel economy. But if you want to you should try the MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust. Then try doing a search on Performance parts to improve fuel ecomony, and find out what parts are out there, Have Fun.

None. It is the best it will be. The only way to improve you fuel economy is to modify your driving habits. Almost all the crap out there that states it will improve you fuel economy is BS. The manufactures are building the best fuel economy and emissions at this time. This is how they sell their vehicles. You can beat a engineer and computer and their resources.

Manufacturers have spent every effort to combine economy power and emissions quality to a balance. What do you think you are going to do without either dogging out your power or stinking yourself out. If you want to improve your economy, the surest cheapest way is to modify your driving habits. All of the hype of performance parts spending hundreds of dollars will give you maybe 10 more HP but won't improve your economy one iota.

Usually, performance drops fuel economy. Try a K&N air filter. It will help a bit.
