There is no answer to that question. By it's very nature, luck is completely random, and so is the amount of it granted to any one person. For all of the people that "get all of the luck" and those "that never get a break" there are really way more "even Stevens."

Wow, I'm sorry to be harsh, but do you really think any one person knows why?
That's just how life is. That's just how things go.
I totally know what you mean, as I am one of the unlucky ones. But it's not like everyone else gets all the breaks. I think most people will tell you they're unlucky, because plus, if you do get what someone else would consider a break, you may not appreciate it. With very few exceptions, I dont' think life is incredibly easy for anyone.

It is not the case at all. I believe that I am a very lucky person, I tell myself that everyday. Other people believe that they have no luck and they never do. It is simply what you put out into the universe the universe usually delivers. Did you mother ever use the expression, 'be careful what you ask for, you just might get it'.

According to the philosophy of karma, you reap what you sow.Now the sowing might have been done in either this birth or in an earlier birth. So all are enjoying the benefits of their karma[efforts] of this birth or an earlier birth.God shows his impartiality through operation of this law amongst his children. The law also states that you can change your destiny by undertaking the right efforts at the right time and in the right manner. There is nobody who is eternally damned or eternally blessed in this world.

There is no luck.
Bad things happen to ALL people, it is just that some people IMMEDIATELY move on and try to make good things happen -- and eventually succeed.
While some people incessantly moan and blame all the bad things that happened to them on "bad luck" and refuse to move on and try to do good.
So it seems that only some people have "bad luck" while in reality everyone has the same luck.

Some are lucky many are born motivated from the get go. They go after what they want. I'm a go getter in some ways, but not enough to help me do better.

If you really look harder at those people who seem to have it good, they really dont, usually they have stepped on those around them to get those breaks. It is great to be an honest hard working persona and yours will come. I believe in Karma.

Because God laughs when we make plans. Nah, honestly, I believe that there is no such thing as luck. its planning, networking, and know-how that get you ahead in life. I'm still in the planning stages though. :/
