those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. everyone forgets what happened in Algiers. and by the way Israel uses Muslims as human sheilds in Israel because Israel keeps its ammunition depots in Muslim areas oh and by the way the Israeli soldiers that are said to be kidnapped by Hezbollah werent kidnapped they were arrested by hezbollah in lebanon

I think the time has come to tell Iran and Syria that any rocket fired by Hezbollah will be considered an act of war by both Iran and Syria and they will face the consequences. Iran has admitted people from there are in southern Lebanon fighting Israel and that is an act of war. The UN should come to it's senses and demand Hezbollah disarm and leave Lebanon. Blaming Israel for attacking military positions used to fire rockets is something only idiots like the French and Spanish could think of. People with a real brain should know blaming Israel is the wrong thing to do. How dumb has the world become??

Who kidnapped and killed soldiers in the first place? Did Israel? The UN resolution called for Hezbollah to be disarmed before this ever happened. They have a useless group in there who have no power to prevent either Israel or Hezbolah from attacking each other. This thirty year joke has not made any sane person laugh at the UN's worthless force. They should have been given the military might to have prevent ed Hezbollah from starting this whole mess in the first place. The UN once again failed to be effective as a deterrent to terrorism. When Israel briefly stopped to allow aid to be be brought into Lebanon and people to flee to safety,, A Isreal tank was destroyed. Hezbollah knew this would cause a response from Israel. These cowards hide behind women and children in hopes that their deaths might further Hezbollah's desire for the destruction of Israel. They target women and children in Israel with rockets filled with metal bearings that would kill them in the most destructive way. The fact is the UN has done nothing for thirty years to be a barrier to terrorist activities in that country. Israel will not be destroyed no matter what weapons or whomever decides to try to bring this to a reality.

It works the other way round actually- Hezbollah is using human shields cause they don't care about Lebanese considering they are controlled by Iran and Syria.
On top of that law recognises that when a criminal wearing an explosive belt is amongst a bunch of hostages, and the only way to stop him from blowing up all the hostages is to shoot through some of them- the responsibility for the deaths is on the criminal, not the police. The victims would never have neem victims if the criminal were not there- just as the Lebanese would not have been victims if Hezbollah were not there!

If the Lebanese people can't see that it is Hezbollah is the cause of their problems rather than the solution, then they deserve the terminial islamist country they will get.
Fortunately, the Lebanese I know aren't so stupid. They know that both Israel and Hezbollah, as well as the Syrians and Iranians that support Hezbollah, are their enemies. I only hope they can rally enough troops and will to finally squash Hezbollah once Israel has stopped attacking their infrastructure. I'd give that scenario < 5% chance though.

Hezbollah is very wrong in what they are doing. Unfortunately so is Israel.
Israel is striking at UN observation posts, as many as 30 times a day, and blaming it on Hezbollah using human shields. Israel is striking at civilians with no presence of Hezbollah, most noticeably Israel is targeting hospitals not occupied, ambulances, civilian buses heading away from conflicts, and very similar.
Israel is using cluster bombs in heavily populated civilian areas. This means that a lot of civilians are getting killed and unexploded bombs are making areas inhabitable.

So by your logic, we should just let Hezbollah launch rockets and kill israelis.
what you are saying is that Lebanese lies are more important than Israeli lives.
Well, welcome to the real world. Neither countries people are worth moe than the others.
BUT, so long as Hezbolah launches rockets, Israel has the right to defend itself, no matter the cost.
Why? Because to not do anything invites even more and larger attacks.

Under the current terms that Israel is engaged in, there can only be a negotiated peace. The only other option will be for Israel to attack Syria and Iran. The land will run with blood at that time.
