17 if in the military nationwide otherwise legally at 18 but some 17yr olds are more adults than 20yr olds. Age has little to do with it and I feel these days 17 would be the more approriate legal age considering you are held accountable as an adult for your actions.

If you're talking about the age of consent, in Georgia it's 16 for boys and girls. In South Carolina it's 14 for girls and 16 for boys. It differs widely from country to country. In Canada it's 12 for girls as long as the boy is 14 or younger.

18 is the age you become an adult. Certain states allow certain things when you are younger though such as getting married.
