Have any of you noticed how many of the so called scary movies that came out in the past few years include a "creepy" little kid (and it usualy sings some child song)? There was The grudge, Dark Water, The Forgotten, The Omen( it looked like it i havent seen it), The Ring (1 &2) and others i can't remeber. But just what is it about those children thats supposed to be scary? Why do people think they're creepy? I find it quite boring. Why can't they think of anything else?

You're forgetting the grandfather of all of the "creepy kids". In 1973, Linda Blair starred as that little girl possessed by the devil in "The Exorcist". Then in 1976 we met little Damien, son of the devil in "The Omen". In 1982, a little girl scared us all by saying "Their heerrree." in "The Poltergeist". So you see, creepy kids have been around a long time-now their just making a comeback.

watch omen, damien is the original scary kid, then try children of the corn. these other movies ur speaking of, i've seen a few of them and ur right, they weren't scary, just weird. the others wasn't too bad, and neither was..... kevin bacon was in it.... stir of echoes, cool flick, but kids weren't as creepy as "they" wanted to come off as
