Much better. Six years ago I was sharing a desk at a piss-ant little consulting company. Tomorrow I move into my new office on the 24th Floor, with a wall of windows. Needles to say, it's a different employer, and the pay is much better.
I'd love to give credit to the President but really, it was my own hard work that got me where I am today. I guess that's what makes me a Conservative. I depend on myself, and make my own success!

Well, yes, I've been doing a job for three years (almost) that is infinitely better than the job I had six years ago. I hated that job with a passion that I cannot speak about.

I'm going to a job that's better than the one I had 8 years ago.
I saved a 20% of my salary (never more than 55K per year) and retired at age 52. Now I can annoy Ds, Ls and HezBULLie sympathizers all day long.

I am waiting for a call about two possible jobs that I am completely qualified for...and I hope they call tomorrow. The job I have now isn't bad...but it's not in my field, so it can be frustrating. With this job...it's just trying to keep up...but I'll get there. What about you?

Yes.
And my husband has done well, too. He is in a management position at a Fortune 500 company and has been promoted from within . . . and without a degree, though he is working on that, too.
Most of the people I know are doing okay. I think part of it is that we have reached a point of our lives in which we really take our jobs seriously. We aren't making money, hand over fist, but we are happy and secure.

I have a much better job today than 6 years ago.
Making twice as much, alot better benifits and more.
Also my investments are paying alot better interest for my retirement accounts.
I only pray the next 6 will be as good as these have.

I am actually in a better job, but I did just graduate college and entered at an entry level job, so anyone should have a better job in my situation...
