It's so frustrating to find stuff I like then only to find out that it is out of stock and discontinued.

No kidding, makes you paranoid enough to stock up on the things you really love. Did you ever see that episode of Seinfeld when Elaine was searching for the Today sponges?

Sometimes you can find the item by tracing it back to the manufacturer and getting it shipped directly from there.

If all else fails, look at it as an opportunity. Now you can try something new and hopefully it is as wonderful, if not more wonderful, than the stuff you were originally using.

Products are introduced to the market all the time. For various reasons, some are continued and some are discontinued. Your problem (and mine) is that you only notice the discontinuance of the products you like. And you don't notice that the same thing is happening to other products; that is, the ones that you don't use or haven't tried.

I feel your pain!!! I've been looking for this particular perfume from Avon that was discontinued about 15 years ago. I've even called the HQ begging them to bring it back just one more time. If anyone knows where I can get my hands on "Ever After" from Avon, I would deeply appreciate it.

If a product is discontinued, it is because not enough people bought it to make it worthwhile to continue.
