Dreaming is part of the "sleep cycles" your brain goes through every night. The stage in which dreaming occurs is called the REM or "Rapid Eye Movement" state. The only reason you don't remember your dreams is because you are fortunate enough to sleep soundly every night without waking up. It is only when a person is awakened during REM state sleep that they remember their dream. If you truly want to remember what you have dreamed there are three methods that I can think of quickly.

1) Set your clock to wake you up at intervals every night. For this you need an alarm clock that has more than one alarm setting.

2) Drink a lot before you go to sleep so you will wake up frequently during the night to go to the bathroom.

3) Give yourself the conscious command before falling asleep that you are going to start remembering your dreams.

Any of the above three methods should increase your chances of waking up during the REM state.

This seems to work for me so it may work for you too. . .everytime I eat some kind of junkfood or filling food before I go to bed I can almost bank on having dreams that I remember the next day. So you may want to try having a bowl of cereal or some chips or something before bed and see what happens. Good Luck

Start keeping a dream diary. Have a pen and paper next to your bed, and whenever you get the chance, as soon as you wake up, write down a brief description of the dream. The more you write, the more you'll dream. It really works.

Yes. Ask to remember your dream. We all dream but rarely remember them.

You dream every night, you just do not remember your dreams.

Before you go to sleep, tell yourself you are not only going to dream, but you are also going to remember them.

I just hope you do not have nightmares......
