I am using Option+ Multi Prenatal .. but I just read that some are not good because they dont absorb enough.. I need to know if mine is a good one?? Or can anyone tell me some good ones?

Genaric walmart ones work the same as expensive ones, don't worry.

As far as absorbing, I wouldn't worry too much. the biggest reason for taking a prenatal vitamin is folic acid. a prescription prenatal generally has 1,000 mg of folic acid, while an over the counter/generic has 600. the recommended daily amount is around 4-500. so either works just as well as the other when taken daily.

I use Perfect Prenatal by NewChapter Organics. These are a 70% organic whole-food suppliment meaning that there are NO synthetics (man made) used. They are $$, but if you look around online you can find them up to 50% off. THey are very easy on the tummy especially with morning sickness.

There is very little difference in the quality of vitamin preparations in general. The most important nutrient for pregnancy is Folate. Ask a pharmacist about this and any other medication related questions.
