I have read all the answers to my question and they are all remarkable, except a couple stupid answers.
You have all together answered my question ... from ' for my child/children' to 'why am I what ' (which I got a kick out of)
I can't choose a best answer, so its up to the public.

although I'm still thinking about one ...

All I know, My Child, that I Am an Alfa and Omega and I created Earth and Heaven, then got bored and created questioners.

why am i sitting answering questions on yahoo on a Sunday night while waiting for a load of wash to finish while the kids are watching Full House on TV? because i am having what is now my sabbath and the kids will soon be going to bed.

Cogito, ergo sum! I think and am alive and present because God created me in His image. To try to find another reasonable answer would be futile, since evolution only raises more questions then it answers.
