A matter of opinion. Sean Connery was the first, so you have die hards fans who won't accept anyone else. Roger Moore I grew up on, although I like Sean Connery when I saw them later. His were campy though, a lot more humor. I liked Timothy Dalton, although I think that is because the plots were good. Pierce has had bad unintelligible hacked editing jobs on his movies, hard to follow. Goldeneye the best made though. A matter of opinion I'm afraid.

I like Pierce Brosnan personally; but Sean Connery wasn't too bad.

Sean Connery, of course... however some feel that George Lazenby was the closest thing to the Ian Fleming prototype.
