It depends on what wrestling your talking about. Amateur wrestling (like what is competed in at the Olympics) is a genuine sport. If you're referring to the WWE, TNA, or other 'pro-wrestling', then this is called "sports entertainment".
Why this is so, is because while it is 'entertainment' (think soap opera) the 'actors' are, in fact, athletes. Yes, the results are set, and the characters help each other to make the moves work, but they are really throwing each other around and they really do require athletic ability.
As the WWE says at the starts of each show "Yes, this is entertainment, but the hazards are real, so please - don't try this at home."

Wrestling is A sport, it's in most high schools across the U.S. and many more country's, but of course you weren't talking about that kind of wrestling, you were making reffernce to WWE wrestling, which has a lot more to do with Acrobatics and stunt cordination, which you've failed to realize before posting your question, never the less I'm willing to bet money that you are in fact the same kind of sub-human who reffers to golf as a sport.

It depends on which wrestling you're talking about dude.
If you mean professional wrestling then that's all fake.
But if you're talking about freestyle wrestling and amature wrestling than that's not fake that's a sport (it's even in the Olympics)
