And women put on all of that make-up and do all that effort to look that way, but a woman feels just as hot for guy who takes absolutley no effort at all? Are men more beautiful than women? Or what? It's just a thought I had when I was just thinking about stuff. My mind has a strange way of thinking so just tell me if this does'nt really make that much sense. I'm sure i'll get plenty of joyful people who will tell me so.

To men, especially me, women ARE the most beautiful creatures in the world! It's more than just make-up. As a matter of fact I like a lady to wear her make-up very lightly. I think the way a woman moves, the lines of her body, her eyes (Mmmmm), the sound of her voice all go together to make a complete visual statement. Men don't wear make-up (most of them anyway, lol), and that's how you have grown up to see us. You like men and are attracted to them. How about 5-o-clock shadow? Does that turn you on or not? Anyway, you're not weird. That was a good question. And one other thing. When you do put on all the make-up and do your hair, we know you did it for us and it's appreciated! ;-)

It's good to wear make up and take care of your body to play the field. I mean a woman wouldn't date a fat guy who doesn't care any more about personal hygiene than a pig, so guys have alot to live up to as well. The most a woman could do is try to look like a work of art. But really, the only man who can love u without make up at 4 in the morning is a man who is in love with you.

but I think my girl is a beautiful person and very attractive with and without make-up.
Make-up is a bonus in my opinion. It's just an extra effort that I appreciate from women.
Some women find men attractive by there masculanity.
I think more shallow women would be attracted to style and fashion or whatever. I don't pay these women any attention.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some men think some women are beautiful and some women think some men are handsome. Some are viewed as beautiful and handsome while some are viewed as ugly by some people. What is beautiful and handsome for some can be ugly to others and what is ugly to some can be beautiful and handsome to others.

true beauty comes from within, but now that i think about why women wear make-up....have you ever noticed that the male bird is the one that has all of that beautiful color? the cardinal for instance; the male is bright red while the female is kind of a drab brown with tints of red. I've also noticed in humans, that the males are usually the ones with natural long dark lashes, while us woman pile on mascara to make our lashes appear long and dark. we can make ourselves appear beautiful when we work at it, but we actually want you men to notice our inner-beauty. men are attracted to the outer-beauty, before they get to know the inner-beauty. a man likes "looking" at a beauty, but he wants the inner-beauty in the long run. some men are lucky enough to find both.

There are more women than men in the world.
So a lot of men feel like they can get anyone they want because there is 13 women to every man. Sad but true.

As w. birds the female dresses and makes up to attract the best mates to choose from to give her offspring the best genes and chance in life. This is why we are still getting better and evolving regardless of the fact that we've conquered many of the survival of the fittest rules.

some men are more beautiful than women are and some women are more beautiful.....some women are naturally beautiful and some aren't,same with men.....but most women think there supposed to look that way for a guy,when they probably dont have to look that way because some guys like natural beauty!!!

I used to wonder about that as well. And then I learned what the limbic system is and realized that motives like you describe are entirely biological.
It's sad when one reflects how much romance is driven by instinctive drives. We all probably sense this, but run after romance anyway. We feel it's so important to our identities, yet it's actually our mammalian ancestry asserting itself.
