Yes left alone in peace Israel would not have to result to WAR

I'm unsure how the events of 2006 and 33 AD have much to do with each other. the casualties of war are just that, casualties. it is unfortunate but it happens.
What about the thousands of children Hezbollah has murdered over the years? or the PLO? or any other terrorist group?
The difference between the Terrorists and the Israeli Army is that at least Israel is man enough to wear a uniform when they do it.

When the US dropped the bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima thousands of Men Women and Children were killed, but few called for the US to be punished for it.

Oh bloody...get it through your mind...The Jews did not kill Jesus...the Pharaisees and the Romans did, not that it matters because this has nothing to do with the current crisis. And using your stupid logic how about Saudis or any Arabs for that matter...the only thing I see out of Arabs is oil and Islamic Wahabbi terrorism, and none of them are good (oil shackles us to dependence on the Arabs, Wahabbi terrorism is just plain evil). By your logic then those people are also no good. Stop generalizing...thats what breeds intolerance and ignorance...

To zar...I see where you are coming from...but look again. Who started the CURRENT conflict? Hezbollah kidnapped the 2 poor sap soldiers first before Lebanon was bombed again. Essentially Hezbollah just opened a Pandora's Box. And further proof of your own ignorance comes by thinking that Hezbollah is a good organization because of all its social projects...hasnt it ever occured to you that this is one of the most effective recruitment tools to get suckers to believe in a cause (and you, just as I, have no right to presume that Hezbollah's goals are just, because we are not in Hezbollah).

In the end...none of us holds the whole truth...we only hold shards or pieces of it.

Remember that the Jews are God's chosen people. If Jesus had not died, his word may not have gone out as it did and us Christians would still be Jewish maybe. The Isralis are not targeting children. In war, now get a grip here, lots of innocents are killed. It is what happens in war. If you don't like children being killed then write a letter to your congressman and get this madness stopped!

Do you just not bother to read history?

First, the Romans killed Jesus of Nazareth, who BTW was Jewish. Not that events two thousand years ago rationally has anything to do with the current fighting. Then again, very few of those involved are being rational here.

Second, look at every war that's ever happened anywhere on earth. Civilian casualties are inevitable. Tragic, but inevitable.

Third, Israel has gone out of its way to tell Lebanese civilians to evacuate areas that it's going to attack. It's warned them before airstrikes happen. The problem is, Hezbollah wants these civilians as human shields, so prevents them from leaving.

Hezbollah started the conflict in Lebanon by attacking and kidnapping Israeli troops and firing rockets at Israeli villages. Hezbollah has been responsible for thousands of Israeli casualties over the years, including hundreds of Israeli children.

The US has killed tens of thousands of civilians, including thousands of children, during its most recent invasion of Iraq. And the US started that war.

Israel has killed hundreds of civilians, including dozens of children, despite its best efforts to avoid civilian casualties. And Israel is fighting only in self defense against an enemy that has vowed to wipe Israel off the face of map. And Israel didn't start this war.

Israel has been saying for over a week that they'll stop as soon as two things happen. 1. Hezbollah releases the Israeli soldiers held hostage. And 2. Hezbollah stops firing rockets at Israeli civilian villages. Hezbollah could have ended this conflict any time they want to. So could Lebanon, by sending in the Lebanese military to stop Hezbollah. But Hezbollah keeps attacking, so Israel has no choice but to defend itself.

And of all of these, you think Israel is the worst to blame?

I wonder if the Israeli's would continue bombing if the Hezbollah could someone fire their rockets from inside Israel? The human shields would then be the Israeli's themselves. I wonder if the same argument for exploding building would be used then. I think the human shield thing is only another excuse to bomb the heck out of Lebanon. Today the Israeli bombs found 60 dead in Lebanon and half of them were children.

It is not even about Jesus. I had nothing against them, till I worked for 2 Jewish companies.Their GOD is money. 34 kids for them it is nothing comparing with how much they can get telling about "antisemitism" on every corner. Millions of them got to USA just by telling that, and it was not true and all off them have all benefits here in America from the pocket of American taxpayers. Try to say something bad about Jews on the street, you'll get to the prison for "antisemitism", but they can say from yahoo.com "kill all Muslim terrorist animals" and nothing is going to happen to them, because if you go to court you'll find 80% Jews there. Palestinian and Lebanese are fighting for their homeland and Jews will never get peace there.

I'm amazed at the people who say things like "Israel warned these people to get out."

Like everyone has the ability to get out...and like they didn't bomb all the roads that would've allowed people to get out.

Peoples' ignorance sickens and disgusts me more than Israel's actions.

For those people talking about Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorists - and how Hezbollah is using innocent people as shields....

Please explain to me how Hezbollah has terrorized Israel - BEFORE Israel started bombing Lebanon?? Hezbollah didn't even exist until 1982 - when they formed in RESPONSE to Israel's occupation of Lebanon. It's not like they just woke up one day and decided to start terrorising the poor innocent Israeli's who were minding their own business. When they finally succeeded in kicking Israel out of their country they scaled back their military and concentrated on social services such as hospitals and schools. Why would a social organization - who provides hospitals, housing and education to their people use them as human shields?

You people seriously disgust me. I wish you were all in Lebanon right now.

Maybe just doing the Jews in and letting the muslims take over the world would be better? I bet more MUSLIM children died this month in MUSLIM car bombings than what died from the Israeli bombings. Letting you zealots take over the world is not the answer. Muslims are terrorist animals.

I understand your frustration, but what about all of the senseless terrorist attacks on Israelis? They have every right to defend themselves. Maybe the terrorists should stop hiding behind children. They have NO value for human life period.
