I am trying to look up images, blogs messages and whatever info someone posted in the past.

pretend you are searching for an actual iPod. so you type in "iPod" but then you get a bunch of other results like ipod cases, chargers, batteries, accessories, etc.
the way to get rid of these is to search something like this:
iPod -cases -batteries -accessories -chargers
the "-" in front of a word will omit those words from your searches

Well in most searches, you can go to the advanced options. From there you can put in key words, exact phrases, or even words that you don't want to find in the search. Go to yahoo's advanced search and you'll find the things i just stated.

Refine your search with the advanced search options, such as Date modified, size, etc.
