I chanced upon a book, titled, 'Into the Haven', author, Annie S Swan published in 1884, in what I would deem, very good shape. Anyone out there know what its value might be or where I could find out.
as always, thank-you

Not much apparently Here is one of the Books now on sale on Ebay and so far it is going for $3.12 U.S. Dollars see listing below. It is for sale for 9.03 Euro on another site that I listed below also.

Wyndham's Daughter: A Story of Today by Annie S. Swan was published by Hutchinson in 1898 and is a first edition. It has black and white illustrations by M. I. T. Badenoch and is in clean and tight condition although spine has cracked slightly in one or two places. There is some foxing. The front free end paper is missing and the spine has cracked here, revealing some of spine webbing. The decorative end boards have gilt/red lettering panels to front board and spine. The boards are rather marked and have some rubbing and chipping to edges and corners. The front edge of spine where it meets front board has begun to split about halfway down .

Start with a search of EBay, then try Froogle on the Google site.

Good luck.

try e-bay...it's probably worth good money if it is actually a first copy and your not reading the pulishing note.
